IMPORTANT: After one entry and exit through the toll station, car tickets (except season passes) become invalid. Re-entering the toll road requires the purchase of a new ticket.
Overnight at the Hut: Guests staying overnight at a mountain hut pay a Car Toll Ticket € 22.00 and may leave their car parked during their stay. Please select the correct time period accordingly. Note: Entry and exit through the toll station is only permitted once!

General Information
The new Ursprungalm toll station is equipped with an ARIVO license plate recognition system. Your license plate is detected automatically and manages each of your entries and exits.
The season runs from 29 May to approximately 2 November 2025 – subject to weather-related changes.
🚌 Bus Shuttle to Ursprungalm

⚠ Attention: Livestock roams freely throughout the valley – even on the road! Dogs are welcome on the alpine pastures – please keep them on a leash and clean up after them. Do not disturb the grazing animals.

🌿 Our Reasons for the Toll
This valley is home to plants and animals, but also serves as a workplace and livelihood for agriculture, forestry, and tourism. Together with the alpine farmers and the municipality of Schladming, we strive to preserve the beauty of this area. Facilities such as parking areas, rest spots, and hiking trails are maintained. After storms, the road must also be repaired regularly.
Information for Travel Groups
Access with buses up to 11 m in length is possible upon request. For larger groups, an alternative transfer can be arranged in cooperation with Planai Busreisen.
Use of the toll road is only permitted for motorcycles with a valid bike ticket.
